WOMEN'S LEATHER CLOTHING
A characterful material and emblematic of the Soeur wardrobe, leather embodies an elegance that reveals itself over time. We love its hold, its suppleness and the way it develops a patina, a sign of a piece that lives and improves with age. Whether smooth, grained, suede or nubuck, this material transcends the seasons and creates a simple, refined Parisian silhouette. Soeur has been working with leather since its inception, and our use of LWG (Leather Working Group) certified lambskin reflects our commitment to more responsible fashion.
OUR LEATHER PIECES
In the Soeur wardrobe, leather jackets and blousons in a variety of cuts (oversized, straight, flared) are paired with leather trousers, skirts and dresses for a feminine and assertive look. The material adds character and authenticity. When temperatures drop, sheepskin provides warmth and texture. In addition, our designer leather belts emphasise the waist, and our leather ankle boots and loafers elongate the silhouette. The Soeur wardrobe also features leather bags - totes, shoulder bags, bucket bags, mini or maxi sizes - which structure the silhouette with precision. Finally, we offer a wide range of accessories such as leather gloves developed in collaboration with the famous glove maker Maison Fabre.
HOW TO WEAR LEATHER
Smooth leather adds a graphic touch to loose-fitting trousers or a midi skirt. Suede and nubuck, which are more velvety, temper a poplin shirt and neutral tones. A mini bag balances a generous knit, while a signature belt defines the waist of a flowing dress. Classic shades – black, dark brown, khaki, taupe – guarantee a timeless style that is easy to mix and match.
LEATHER CARE TIPS
To preserve the material, dust your items regularly with a soft cloth. On smooth leather, apply a cleansing milk and then a nourishing cream from time to time to revive the patina. On suede and nubuck, use a crepe brush and a suitable waterproofing agent to protect the surface without adding shine. Sheepskin should simply be aired and brushed gently. Always store your items away from direct light and humidity.
